Looking after your lawn during fireworks

At North Hampshire Lawn Treatments, we have complied a list of tips to keep your lawn healthy during Bonfire night.

  • Keep fireworks off the lawn. Build a stable and secure launch pad to release fireworks. If you light fireworks on your lawn, you will see burn marks that will have caused damage to the lawn.

  • Look out for firework residue. Do you ever wake up after Bonfire night and see a rouge rocket that definitely isn’t yours on your lawn? You may think this is harmless, however, if you leave the firework on the lawn for too long, when you take it off there will be a damaged area of grass due to restricted light from the object which will require repairing in the Spring.

  • When disposing of sparklers, please do not put them out on your lawn! Ensure you have a bucket of water on site to dispose of them safely.
