Aeration

Hollow tine aeration

Hollow tine aeration reduces soil compaction, creating a channel through which oxygen, water and nutrients can penetrate into the soil.

The aerator pulls out thumb size plugs of soil. (see images below)

Sarel Tine aeration (solid spikes)

The array of closely spaced tines provides a high volume of essential surface aeration which aids water and air penetration and consequently balanced gaseous exchange.

This process is absolutely crucial for stimulating soil biology which in turn results in consistent grass plant health and vitality.
Sarel tine aeration can also be undertaken when seeding and top dressing to assist seed protection and soil contact.

This is a process which enables strong root growth for your lawn and lays the foundations for the next growing season (see images below.)
